Urgent: USCIS Closes Many Offices – Cancelling Interviews in Several States

United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced the closing of the following USCIS Field Offices and Application Support Centers (ASC) for Monday, October 29, 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy:

Philadelphia, PA Field Office & Application Support Center (both the 1600 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location as well as the 10300 Drummond Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania fingerprint center)

York, PA Application Support Center (3400 Concord Road, York, Pennsylvania)

Bronx, NY Application Support Center
Brooklyn, NY Application Support Center
Hicksville, NY Application Support Center
Long Island, NY Field Office & Application Support Center
Manhattan, NY Application Support Center
New Rochelle, NY Application Support Center
New York Asylum Office
New York, NY Field Office
Port Chester, NY Application Support Center
Queens, NY Field Office & Application Support Center
Queens/Jamaica, NY Application Support Center

The following interviews and appointments are cancelled: any fingerprint (biometrics) appointments, as well as any interviews related to asylum, adjustment of status, temporary protected status (TPS), family petitions, employment petitions and naturalization applications.

If you currently have an appointment scheduled for October 29, 2012, your appointment will automatically be rescheduled. You do not need to contact USCIS or any other Department of Homeland Security Agency to reschedule your appointment.
